Romence Gardens

Isn’t it time to add a little Romence to your life?

Lawn Fertilizer Programs

Spring is coming and now is the time to buy early and save! We have great prices all spring, but buy now through March 31 for the best price of the season. Only our fertilizer, available exclusively at Romence Gardens, is formulated for the soils in Southwest Michigan. Romence Gardens lawn fertilizers have a greater percentage of active fertilizer ingredients per square foot of coverage than the national brands. We also package our special blends in generic bags, keeping production costs to a minimum, and passing on the savings to you. More fertilizer in the bag means less cost to you!

Most of you on our mailing list already know about our fertilizer program, but for those of you who don’t and will not receive a postcard in the mail, this is how it works.

  • Through the rest of February and all of March, if you buy all four steps of the fertilizer package or the optional 5th step, you will receive a 15% discount.
  • If you wait to buy it between April 1-15th, it will still be on sale, but at a smaller discount.
  • We are sending our yearly postcards as reminders to pay for your fertilizer program. We don’t have home addresses for all of our contacts so we are sending email reminders. Some of you may receive a postcard and an email reminder.
  • If you would like to purchase or need more information, please call us at 269-323-8310 or email us at info@romencegardencenter.com.
  • We do want to thank each and every one of our customers for all of their loyal support. Before you know it, it will be time to apply your first step!

Winter Pruning Tips

It is good to prune certain trees and shrubs in the winter while they are dormant.  Pruning to remove deadwood can also help to open the interior, providing better air circulation which can reduce the chance of fungal diseases.  Just remember not to remove more than 1/3 of the growth or you may stress the plant.

If you have more questions about pruning or protecting your plants during late winter, please stop in and see us.
