Romence Gardens

Isn’t it time to add a little Romence to your life?

Spring is Blooming at Romence Gardens!

We are excited to start a new gardening season and to bring you the best selection and quality of plants, shrubs and trees in the area.

Spring Hours:
9 am to 5 pm Monday – Saturday

We have trees and shrubs in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

In addition to providing shade, sweet scents, and fruit, trees and shrubs add lasting beauty to landscapes, and can be used as windbreaks & sound barriers.

Flowering Trees, Evergreens, Shrubs, Perennials, Annuals,
Hostas, Roses & More

If you have fruit trees, we recommend spraying them in the spring to prevent disease.  Spray when the buds are tight; once they start to show color after the flower petals have dropped.
Hostas at Romence GardensWe will have a nice selection of new perennials to see along with your old favorites.  Our hosta selection is one of the most extensive available with more than 300 varieties for your enjoyment!
While tilling and preparing your vegetable garden, it is a good idea to add Garden Tone and work it into the soil so the nutrients are available when you plant your seeds or starter plants.
Arbor Day is April 29th!

Got Mulch?
As the weather continues to (slowly) warm, now is the time to start prepping your lawn and garden.  Don’t let the weeds get a head start – order mulch soon.  Did you know?  We offer delivery service of nursery stock and bulk materials such as, mulch, topsoil, river rock, and any other product that we carry.
We provide landscaping design, advice, supplies and installation.  Contact Jeff and he will help you select the best perennials, shrubs and trees for your location.
You can start preparing your lawn for fertilizer by raking, thatching and aerating.  Don’t forget that the First Step application of lawn fertilizer does not go down until the ground temperature is at 60 degrees.  You can determine ground temperature by sticking a thermometer in the sunny part of your soil about 1-2 inches down.

Just in…
We now have seed potatoes, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb & onion sets!

Creating a Garden Oasis?

We also sell garden arches, birdbaths, gazing balls, stepping stones, wind chimes & much more.

Mother’s Day is May 8th!
